It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or health recommendations, and it is not a substitute for professional care. Always consult a qualified doctor or healthcare provider about any health concerns or before making decisions based on what you track in the app.

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Thank you for using Ploppy. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information Ploppy handles and how it is protected. In short: Ploppy keeps your data on your device — we do not run servers and never receive your data.

2. Information We Collect

Entries you log: the bowel-movement records you create in the app — such as date and time, duration, Bristol stool type, size, color, effort level, and any optional notes. This is stored locally on your device.
No personal identifiers: Ploppy does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, location, or device identifiers.
No analytics or tracking: Ploppy does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking tools, and does not collect usage or performance data.

3. How We Use Your Information

The entries you log are used solely to show your history, charts, statistics, and reminders within the app, on your device. We do not access this data, and it is not used for any other purpose.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage.
We do not operate servers and do not receive, store, or transmit your data to ourselves or any third party.
If you use Ploppy on both iPhone and Apple Watch, your entries sync between your own devices.

5. Apple Health

If you grant permission, Ploppy can save relevant bowel-health data to Apple Health on your device. This data is managed by Apple Health under Apple's privacy protections and is never sent to us. You can review or revoke Ploppy's Health access at any time in the Apple Health app.

6. Data Sharing & Export

Ploppy does not share your data with third parties. You can export your history as a CSV file from the app's Settings and choose where to send it — any such sharing is initiated entirely by you.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can delete individual entries, or use "Clear all data" in Settings to remove everything at once.
You can review or revoke Apple Health access in the Apple Health app.
You can delete the app at any time to remove all locally stored data.

8. Children's Privacy

Ploppy does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, as it does not collect personal information at all.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and updated with a new effective date.
